Steffis favourit Crispy Baja-Style Fish Tacos 🌮 (Most fish-haters like this)

Marinade (20-30 min)

  • 300g basa fillet

  • 1 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

  • ½ tsp cumin

  • Black pepper

Coating

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • 1 tbsp cornstarch (if you have it)

Cook

  1. Pat fish dry.

  2. Marinate 20-30 minutes.

  3. Coat lightly with flour mixture.

  4. Pan-fry in a little oil until golden and flaky.

Taco Filling

  • Diced tomatoes

  • Avocado

  • Yogurt mixed with garlic and lime/lemon

  • Optional pineapple salsa (pineapple + tomato + chili)

The crispy coating and sauce make it taste more like seasoned chicken than fish.
